Anglican Editors Association
Editing Anglican newspapers and web sites across Canada
Welcome to the website of the Anglican Editors Association (AEA). Now in our twenty-first year the AEA exists to provide a network among the 25 Canadian Anglican diocesan newspapers, The Anglican Journal and various committees of the General Synod. Due to the changing nature of communications in the 21st century and the growth of the internet, many editors also serve as diocesan webmasters and we have extended the invitation to diocesan webmasters to attend our annual conferences.

The association provides opportunities for fellowship and professional development by way of an annual three-day conference, a list serve for the exchange of ideas, and the AEA promotes common concerns and interests of the members. A fine example of our working for the mutual benefit is the fact that all but three of our publications use the same printer.

Our next conference will be held May 29th to June 1st 2010 in Halifax, just prior to the June 4-10th meeting of General Synod. The AEA executive and Paul Sherwood, the host editor, look forward to welcoming all members to this useful and fun filled time.
